About Exhibit

Exhibit is an iPhone app that turns an iMessage, SMS or WhatsApp conversation into a clean PDF, CSV or text file. It is built and maintained by Luc de Vries, an independent developer.

How the guides are made

Every guide on this site is tested on a real iPhone, checked against official sources such as Apple Support, WhatsApp Help and US court self-help pages, and reviewed by Luc before it goes live. Each page lists its sources and the device and iOS version it was tested on. When iOS or WhatsApp changes, the steps are tested again and the page shows the update date.

What Exhibit is not

Exhibit is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. The guides explain general practice in the United States. For your own case, talk to a lawyer or your court's self-help center.
