Common questions
The shortcut asks for permission. Is that normal?
Yes. The first time the Exhibit shortcut runs, Apple Shortcuts asks whether it may read your messages and pass them to Exhibit. Allow it, keep your iPhone unlocked, and it returns to Exhibit by itself.
Why are photos from iMessage not in my PDF?
Apple Shortcuts cannot export attachments from Messages. Exhibit lists each attachment where it appeared, so the record shows where it was. Save important photos separately from the conversation.
How do I import a WhatsApp chat?
In WhatsApp, open the chat, tap the contact or group name, choose Export Chat, then pick Exhibit or save the file and open it in Exhibit.
I bought Exhibit on another iPhone. How do I restore my purchase?
Open Exhibit's settings and choose Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases go through the App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
